Gorseland Sporting Results

posted 20 Oct 2016, 06:42 by Joshua Roberts   [ updated 3 Nov 2016, 02:37 ]

We have had some exciting results this half term. The Netball girls won the first league game against Castle Hill Primary 7-1. The Boys football won the cup game against Hillside Primary School, winning 4-0 and advancing into the next round!

We also had some great results in the Kesgrave High School Cross Country event which involved years 4, 5 and 6 in year 5 and year 6 races. The races were all inclusive and anyone who wanted to come was encouraged. We had some emotional finishes with children coming in nearly last and last and all the team cheering them on along with marshalls running next to them- worthy of a movie. We won the Girls Year 5 category, the Boys Year 5 category and the Boys Year 6 category.

Well done to all those involved and a big thank you to all the staff and parents that supported the events.
