Castle trip

First we left the school and then we got into the coach. Eventually we got there. We tried to find the castle. We went down to the water. The water was dirty. Then we recognised we were going the wrong way. Finally we got to the castle. My favourite bit was exploring the castle.  by Ben Year 2

Our trip to Orford Castle
First we went down to the Quay. The river was lovely. The sun was shining on the river, it was beautiful. When we got there I was hungry. First at the castle we made a curtain wall, it was fun. After we had lunch. It was yummy. Then we went in the castle. It was fun and dark.  by Melody Year 2

Orford Castle
My favourite part of the castle is when we went down the staircase. It was slippery.  We ate some castle bread, it was yummy. by Owen Year2

My trip to Orford Castle.
First we got to the coach and drove to a car park. Next we went on a walk to the castle. We went inside. We went into the meeting room.  The sink was a bit funny because it did not have a tap. It was funny when Lilly sat on the toilets!    by Anastasia Year 2

We have visited Elmhurst Park in Woodbridge and written about our day.
The day at the Park
On Thursday we all went on a trip to Elmhurst Park in Woodbridge.  It took us 5- 10 minutes to get there. There were three activities. One was to go to the secret garden. We got to eat a little bit of purple lettuce. I didn't like it so I put it in the compost bin. It was an amazing school trip. I was allowed to pick some lavender and another leaf too. Then we went with Mrs Cracknell. She was doing a picture game. You had to find all the pictures. Then there was a challenge. We did a leaf trail. We found lots and lots. Then we had lunch.  Then we did a poem. It was a spider one. I went with Jonathan, Lewis and Olly too. Then we went back to school and we all went home.  by James Year 2

In June we will begin learning about gardens around the world. 'Global Gardens'
We would like you to start by thinking about your own garden. What do you grow? Who uses the space? What would you like to change?
Be ready to talk about your garden when you come back to school. Bring some photographs or some pictures you have drawn, to show us.
