Maths: Tessellation Teams

We explored lines of symmetry; rotational symmetry; parallel lines; how to find angles knowing the total of angles of regular polygons.Following instructions we were able to make our own pentagons, hexagons, kites and trapeziums from A4 paper. Our next step was to work as a team, to use all this knowledge to create our own tessellations. 
We ensured there were no gaps between the shapes and considered rotational symmetry in particular.
