History: Control Tower Visit and Evacuee Talk

posted 20 Jan 2017, 08:50 by Jenni Stanley
We were lucky to be able to visit the nearby Control Tower and bunker, as well as hear the fantastic recounts of life as an evacuee in World War Two. Although we had visited the museum before, this time we understood so much more about how different life was then and how hard that time was. We loved the story about the German parachute made into a wedding dress and to understand more about how the weapons worked.
