UN Convention on The Rights of The Child

The 20th November is the anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We focused on Article 8, which states that every child has the right to an identity. From our work on WW2 we knew that children's evacuation identity cards consisted of little more than a name and address.
We agreed that our identity is shaped by far more than that and children have the right to be identified by their family, friends, hobbies and likes. Having thought about these things, we created our own identity cards. Take a look at three of them below. The rest will be displayed soon.
